Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use govern Tellpin (the “Service”), available at tellpin.com and app.tellpin.com. Tellpin is operated by MadeofIA, which is responsible for the brand, the commercial offer, and the relationship with you (the “User”). MadeofIA is based in Brazil. Contact: hello@tellpin.com.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Tellpin.

2. The Service

Tellpin provides an embeddable feedback widget and a dashboard. Visitors can leave a rating and a comment. When feedback is still vague, an AI interviewer may ask follow-up questions. Three follow-ups is a hard maximum, not a target. Already-clear comments may receive none. Tellpin stores the original comment, the transcript, and a generated insight for you to review.

A conversation is reserved when Tellpin first calls the AI provider and kept when that call returns a follow-up question or a terminal insight. Failed provider attempts before a follow-up is delivered do not reduce your remaining conversations. Up to three follow-ups are included in that conversation. Further replies in the same session are not billed separately. When your monthly allowance is used up, visitors can still leave their original feedback without AI follow-ups.

Usage is account-wide and resets at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each month, including on annual plans.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email and keep your password confidential. Email confirmation is required before the dashboard is available. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tellpin is intended for people 18 or older.

4. Plans and prices

Prices are in US dollars (USD). Current catalogue:

• Free: 25 AI conversations per month, 1 project, $0.
• Starter: 500 AI conversations per month, 3 projects, $29/month or $290/year.
• Growth: 2,000 AI conversations per month, 10 projects, $79/month or $790/year.

Annual billing charges ten months and provides twelve months of access (two months included). Conversation allowances still reset every month. We do not currently collect sales tax or VAT at checkout. Tax settings may change; we will update these Terms if they do. We do not claim that prices include tax.

5. Billing, Stripe, and cancellation

Paid plans are charged by Stripe. You complete Checkout on Stripe’s hosted page. Until Stripe confirms payment, the account stays on Free. You can change payment method, switch plans, or cancel in Stripe’s customer portal, opened from dashboard Settings.

After you cancel, access to the paid allowance continues until the end of the period already paid, unless the portal for this Stripe account is configured otherwise. Unused conversations do not roll over. Refunds, if any, are handled case by case and may also follow Stripe’s process.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Tellpin for unlawful content or to collect data you have no right to collect.
• Abuse the widget, API, or dashboard, including attempts to bypass rate limits, quotas, or origin checks.
• Probe, overload, or disrupt the Service, or reverse engineer it except as allowed by mandatory law.
• Submit malware, or use the Service to send spam.
• Misrepresent Tellpin as a certified, audited, or tax-inclusive product. It is not SOC 2 certified and does not promise EU-only data residency.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, after a notice when it is reasonable to give one.

7. Intellectual property

You own the feedback your visitors submit and the content you put into Tellpin. You grant MadeofIA a licence to host, process, and display that content as needed to provide the Service, including sending text to the AI provider.

MadeofIA and its licensors own Tellpin: the widget, dashboard, models of the product, and the Tellpin name and marks. These Terms do not transfer that ownership.

8. AI limitations

Insights and follow-up questions are generated automatically. They can be incomplete or wrong. They are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for how you act on dashboard output. The Service is provided as is, without a warranty that AI output will meet a particular quality bar.

Provider outages and rate limits can stop follow-ups. Original feedback collection is designed to continue when AI is unavailable or the allowance is exhausted.

9. Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy at https://tellpin.com/privacy. That policy is part of how we operate the Service. For LGPD rights requests, use hello@tellpin.com.

10. Availability

We aim to keep Tellpin available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Hosting, database, email, billing, and AI providers can fail. Planned maintenance and incident response may also pause parts of the Service.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, MadeofIA is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from use of Tellpin. Except for liability that Brazilian law does not allow us to limit, our total liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 30 days before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that the Brazilian Consumer Defence Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor) grants to a consumer, where that code applies. We also do not exclude liability for intent or for other cases where exclusion is forbidden.

12. Changes

We may change the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or a notice in the product, with at least 30 days’ notice when that is reasonable. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any paid plan.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Disputes will be heard in the courts competent under Brazilian law, without prejudice to a consumer’s right to sue in the courts of their domicile under the Consumer Defence Code.

Tellpin is not a United States company. Choosing USD prices and English product copy does not change that.
